Bangladesh's COVID-19 death toll touches 1,049
Dhaka/UNI: Bangladesh on Thursday reported 37 more deaths and 3,187 new COVID-19 cases, a senior health ministry official said.
Professor Nasima Sultana, additional director general of Directorate General of Health Services under the Ministry of Health, said the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bangladesh has now mounted to 78,052.
With 37 new deaths, she said, the death toll due to the virus in the country reached 1,049 on Thursday.
