COVID-19: Bangladesh registers 22 deaths in past 24 hours
Dhaka: Bangladesh has registered 22 new COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours, media reports said.
The death toll due to the highly infectious disease now stands at 3,154.
A fresh 886 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in 24 hours from Saturday to Sunday, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 240,746, reports Dhaka Tribune.
Additional Director General (Administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Prof Nasima Sultana, revealed the figures.
She said 586 people recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
