COVID-19 outbreak in India: Death toll touches 686
New Delhi/IBNS: The death toll due to COVID-19 outbreak in India touched 686, as per Ministry of Health data released on Thursday.
The total number of COVID-19 cases reported so far in the country stands at 21,700 which includes 16689 active cases.
So far, 4324 people have recovered from the disease.
Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi Prime Minister of SingaporeLee Hsien Loong and exchanged view on COVID-19 outbreak.

Giving some ray of hope, the Indian government on Thursday said 12 districts in the country did not report any COVID-19 positive case for the past 28 days.
"Now, we have 12 districts that did not have a fresh case in the last 28 days or more (8 new districts have been added to the list)," Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Health Ministry, said during his daily press briefing.
"78 districts where no case has been reported in last 14 days (33 new districts in 9 states added to the list)," he said.
