Delhi records 89 COVID-19 cases
New Delhi/UNI: Delhi registered 89 cases of COVID-19 and 11 deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said here on Monday.
The positivity rate in the National Capital is 0.16 per cent while the fatality rate stands at 1.74 per cent.
The active cases have come down to 1,996 as a total of 173 patients also recovered in the past day.
The fresh cases came from a total of 57,128 tests, comprising 45,468 RT PCR/CBNAAT/True Nat and 11,660 rapid antigen tests, conducted in the last 24 hours.
The total cases in Delhi have reached 14,32,381 while the death toll has surged to 24,925.
As per the official data, 22,380 COVID beds are available in hospitals, 6,211 in dedicated COVID Care Centre, and 618 in dedicated COVID Health Care Centres.
The health bulletin said 11,662 beneficiaries were vaccinated in the past day, which included 10,043 first dose recipients and 1,619 who were administered with a second dose.
Delhi had recorded its highest single-day spike of 28,395 COVID-19 cases on April 20.
