Delhi records 89 fresh COVID-19 cases, four deaths
New Delhi/UNI: Delhi registered 89 cases of COVID-19 and four deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said here on Sunday.
The positivity rate in the National Capital is 0.12 per cent while the fatality rate stands at 1.74 per cent. The active cases have come down to 1,996 as a total of 173 patients also recovered during the past 24 hours.
The fresh cases came from a total of 74,198 tests, comprising 54,297 RT PCR/CBNAAT/True Nat and 19,901 rapid antigen tests, conducted in the last 24 hours.
The total cases in Delhi have reached 14,33,934 while the death toll has surged to 24,965.
As per the official data, 22,703 COVID beds are available in hospitals, 6,276 in dedicated COVID Care Centre, and 676 in dedicated COVID Health Care Centres.
The health bulletin said 2,07,557 beneficiaries were vaccinated during the past 24
hours, which included 1,72,659 first dose recipients and 34,898 who were administered with a second dose.
Delhi had recorded its highest single-day spike of 28,395 COVID-19 cases on April 20.
