Ebola: Two Nigerian national admitted in Delhi hospital for observation
They arrived in India from Nigeria.
"Two passengers, aged 24 and 27, both Nigerian Nationals travelling from Nigeria were found having fever at the time of screening at Delhi Airport. They have been admitted to Dr RML Hospital for observation," the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a statement on Thursday.
"Mandatory reporting of passengers from affected countries is in place. Since its inception on 10th August, 2014, 5235 passengers have been screened at the Airports at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Trivandrum and Kochi," it said.
The Ministry said there has been no confirmed or even suspect case of Ebola Virus Disease in India so far.
