India once again witnesses a spike as 43,654 new Covid-19 cases registered in past 24 hours

New Delhi: After a dip, India once again witnessed a spike as 43,654 new Covid-19 were registered in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Wednesday.

During the same period, 640 people died due to the highly infectious virus.

3,06,63,147 total recoveries across the country have been recorded so far.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 97.39%.

41,678 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 3,99,436.

Active cases constitute 1.27% of total cases.

Weekly Positivity Rate remains below 5%. It currently stands at 2.36%.

Daily positivity rate is at 2.51%.
