India records 132364 new COVID-19 cases, 2713 deaths in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 1,32,364 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data.

India also recorded 2713 deaths due to the deadly virus during the same period.

The total death toll due to the virus now stands at 3,40,702.

In the past 24 hours, , 2,07,071 people have been discharged.

India is witnessing a deadliest second wave of the COVID19 pandemic for the past several months.

Apart from the high number of deaths recorded due to the virus, people in this phase struggled to get a hospital bed, oxygen and even the crematoriums and burial grounds remained overwhelmed.
