India records 3,79,257 fresh COVID-19 cases, 3645 deaths

Kolkata: India's daily COVID-19 rise continues to witness a spike as 3,79,257 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Thursday.

During the same period, 3645 deaths have been reported due to the disease.

The death toll due to the deadly virus now stands at 204832.

There are 30,84,814 active cases in the country at present.

On the vaccination front, total 15,00,20,648 people have been vaccinated across the country till now.

The previous highest single-day spike in cases and deaths was reported on Wednesday when the country saw 3,60,960 cases and 3,293 deaths.
