India registers 1,247 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours
New Delhi: India registered 1,247 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.
During the same period, the country recorded one death due to the virus.
Tuesday marked a sharp drop in daily count as 2,183 new coronavirus infections were registered on Monday.
The daily positivity rate now stands at 0.31 percent.
India's active caseload currently stands at 11,860.
Active cases stand at 0.03 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.76 percent.
928 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
