
India registers 19,740 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours
New Delhi: India, a nation which witnessed a deadly second wave of COVID-19, recorded 19,740 new cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Saturday.
During the past 24 hours, 248 people died due to the virus.
The death toll due to the virus now stands at 450375.
Active cases account for less than 1% of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.70 percent.
It is the lowest figure registered since March 2020.
India's Active caseload stands at 2,36,643.
Recovery Rate currently at 97.98 percent.
