India registers 8,439 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours amid Omicron spread fear
New Delhi: India, a nation which is slowly witnessing a rise in Omicron variant cases, recorded 8,439 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Wednesday.
India's active caseload currently stands at 93,733.
Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.
It currently stands at 0.27 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.36 percent.
9,525 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.
During the past 24 hours, 195 people lost their lives due to COVID-19.
