India reported eight monkeypox cases so far: Health Minister
New Delhi: Health Minister Mansukh Madaviya on Tuesday said India has reported eight monkeypox cases so far.
Delhi reported the third monkeypox case on Tuesday.
"So far, eight cases have been detected in India so far," the Minister said.
He said: "Five of them have foreign travel history."
The minister said awareness about the disease is important.

He said there is no need to panic about the viral infection.
He said India started taking precautionary steps once the first monkeypox case emerged in the world.
