India reports 12,213 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/UNI: India reported 12,213 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally in the country to 4,32, 57,730, according to the Health Ministry data Thursday.

As many as 11 fresh related fatalities were also recorded, taking the total death count in the country, to 52,48,03

The active cases currently stand at 58,215 which now comprise 0.11 percent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.65 percent.

Meanwhile, 7,624 recoveries were reported, increasing the total recoveries to 4,26 74712.

According to the Ministry's bulletin, 85.63 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done so far.
