Kashmir: Indian army organises free medical camp at Drugmulla
Srinagar/IBNS: The Indian Army organised a free medical camp in an attempt to provide basic health facilities in the remote areas of Drugmulla block at the Udaan School, Drugmulla, said Col Emron Musavi, PRO (Defence) Srinagar.
“The medical camp was organised by the doctors of Army Medical Corps. The medical camp witnessed a large turnout of nearly 300 people who were offered medical consultation and free medicines,” the PRO said.
He added that the larger aim of medical camp was to provide an opportunity to the local populace to seek medical advice for their ailments which otherwise involves visiting hospitals in Kupwara and Srinagar.
“The medical camp also witnessed the free distribution of various medical products like nebulisers, BP machines, SPO2 monitors contactless thermometers and weighing machines,” an official statement said.
