LifeCell International, Fortis La Femme organizes Mommies Day Out
Packed with interactive workshops, fun games, and informative sessions, Mommies Day Out has been conceptualized with an aim to celebrate pregnancy which is one of the most special phases in a woman’s life.
Every pregnancy is different and is laden with a long list of do’s and don’ts. LifeCell’s exclusive workshop provided health related information, such as diet and fitness regime to follow during pregnancy.
Speaking on this occasion, Mayur Abhaya Srisrimal, CEO & Managing Director, LifeCell said, “Being in the umbilical cord stem cell banking industry, we at LifeCell understand the requirements of pregnant women. Through this event, the mom-to-be has the unique opportunity to put her doubts to rest and get personalized expert advice on areas such as nutrition, fitness, labour management and maternity fashion. Every pregnant mother attending this event has something of value to take back with her."

There cannot be a better celebration of motherhood than enlighten them about blissfulness of a healthy pregnancy, through fitness and exercise programme, post natal care, breast-feeding and other relevant aspects of motherhood.”
The Child Birth Educator from Fortis Mamma Mia- Anita Sharma was present at the workshop.
With an experience of over 25 years in women’s health as a physiotherapist, Sharma believes in the importance of being active and healing the body and mind through exercise and therapy.
The fitness-during-pregnancy session was conducted by Ms. Shruti Saxena of Mamma Mia, who has over 12 years of experience working with women through their labour, birth and new parenthood using fitness tools, birth support techniques and one on one confidence building work.
Saxena is the only qualified Dunstan Baby Language practitioner in India, a program which helps parents to interpret infant language and respond to their needs effectively.
