nCoV: Bihar reports 13 new cases

Patna/UNI: With 13 fresh cases of novel coronavirus coming to the fore, the total number of cases increased from 409 to 422 in Bihar on Thursday.

Principal Secretary of Health Department Sanjay Kumar said here that 13 new cases came to light which increased total number of Corona positive cases to 422 in Bihar so far. Of the 13 new cases, nine were from Rohtas, two each from Patna and Saran, he added.

Kumar said that all the nine persons confirmed as Corona positive cases in Rohtas were males and they were of 21, 47, 20, 22, 37, 51, 30, 2 and 34 years of age.

Two males of Patna, found to be Corona positive cases were of 32 and 45 years of age, he added.

Principal Secretary said that an old man of 62 years and a female of 35 years of age were also confirmed as Corona positive cases. Details of their travel history and contacts were being ascertained, he added.

Earlier during the day, six cases of Corona positive were detected which had increased the tally of last night from 403 to 409.
