Nineteen fresh cases take Coronavirus tally to 2,383 in Rajasthan

Jaipur/UNI: With 19 more people testing positive in the past 24 hours, the tally of confirmed coronavirus infections rose to 2,383 in Rajasthan on Wednesday morning.

According to the Health Department report, five people from the capital city of Jaipur, 11 from Ajmer, one each from Udaipur and Banswara tested positive for the deadly virus.

Till date, 52 people have succumbed to it, the report said.

As per the Department, so far, the confirmed cases have been received from Ajmer--146, Alwar--7, Banswara--64, Bamer--2, Bharatpur--110, Bhilwara--35, Bikaner--37, Churu--14, Dausa--21, Dhaulpur--9, Dungarpur--6, Hanumangarh--11, Jaipur 864, Jaiselmer--35, Jahawara--40, Jhunjhunu--42, Jodhpur--401, Karauli--3, Kota--189, Nagaur--117, Paali--3, Pratapgarh--2, Sawai Madhopur--8,, Seekar--6, Tonk--131, Udaipur--8.

A total of 92,506 samples have been taken till now, of which 2,383 tested positive, 85,834 were negative while reports of 289 are awaited.
