Singapore: Two more Bangladesh nationals infected with coronavirus
Singapore City/IBNS: Two more Bangladeshi migrant workers, who are currently in Singapore, have been infected nu coronavirus, country's officials said.
The fresh detections took the number of Bangladeshi people hit by the virus in the country to four.
They are aged 30 and 37, Singapore's Health Ministry confirmed in a statement.
According to reports, both of them worked in Seletar Aerospace Heights.
Speaking on one of the patients, who is aged 37, the Minister said in its statement: "Prior to hospital admission, he had gone to work at the Seletar Aerospace Heights construction site, the same location where Cases 42 and 47 had worked. He reported that he had mostly stayed at his rental apartment at Campbell Lane since the onset of symptoms."
Speaking on the other person, it said: "Case 56 is a 30 year-old male Bangladesh national with no recent travel history to China. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection on 13 February morning, and is currently warded in an isolation room at NCID. He is linked to the cluster at the Seletar Aerospace Heights construction site."
