Slight earthquake hits Haryana, tremors felt in Delhi

New Delhi, Sept 10 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter Scale hit Jhajjar in Haryana as tremors were felt in Delhi,Noida and Gurgaon, officials said.

As per the IMD website, the epicentre of the quake  was located at  latitude   28.6 degrees north  and longitude 76.6 degrees east,  at a depth of 10 kms.

The IMD called the intensity of the quake as 'slight'.

No casualty has been reported so far.

The IMD tweeted: "Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on:10-09-2016, 20:57:24 IST, Lat:28.6 N & Long: 76.6 E, Depth: 10 Km, Region:Jhajjar, Haryana."
