South Korea reports 8 more COVID-19 cases, 10,702 in total

Seoul/Xinhua/UNI: South Korea reported eight more cases of the COVID-19 compared to 24 hours ago as of midnight Thursday local time, raising the total number of infections to 10,702.
The daily caseload hovered around 10 for the sixth straight day. Of the new cases, four were imported from overseas, raising the combined number to 1,021.

Two more deaths were confirmed, lifting the death toll to 240. The total fatality rate came in at 2.24 percent.

A total of 134 more patients were discharged from quarantine after making full recovery, pulling up the combined number to 8,411. The total recovery rate was 78.6 percent.
