TM Krishna, Bezwada Wilson win Magsaysay Award for 2016

New Delhi, July 27 (IBNS): Two Indians, TM Krishna and Bezwada Wilson have received the 2016 edition of Ramon Magsaysay Award from The Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation.
Wilson is a 50-year old human rights activist and Krishna is a Carnatic musician.
 
Wilson was awarded for "Asserting the inalienable right to a life of human dignity" and Krishna received it for "Ensuring social inclusiveness in culture", the site revealed.
