International Women's Day celebrated at Howrah Sarat Sadan

Kolkata, Mar 10 (IBNS): The International Women's Day was celebrated recently at Howrah Sarat Sadan in West Bengal in the presence of eminent personalities from the world of film, music and politics.

The celebration was attended by legendary actress Madhabi Mukherjee, Tollywood actress Nusrat Jahan and percussionist Prodyut Mukherjee.

Apart from the film personalities, West Bengal Minister Arup Roy and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Prasun Banerjee.

Singer Mallika Roychowdhury rendered songs in the programme while a duet (jugalbandi) between her and Parhthasarathi Eklbya was appreciated by the audience.
