Surtarang 40th Surtarang singing talent hunt competition concludes in Delhi
New Delhi/IBNS: The 40th edition of national singing talent hunt organization Surtarang reached its conclusion at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi on Oct 11, featuring some of the nation's most promising amateur singers.
Renowned artists including Padma Shri-awarded Ghazal singer Penaz Masani, Bollywood playback singer Rupali Jagga, singer-rapper Enbee, Punjabi singer Ashok Masti, and Indian Idol Fame Mohit Chopra, added to the event's enthusiasm with their captivating performances.
In the sub-junior film category, the winners were Ehsas Quaiser, Shreyash Thakur, Ashwin Sharma, and Priyanshi Jena.
The sub-junior non-film category saw Anu Shruti, Ayaan Ahmed, and Ayaan Khan emerge as victors. Pranab Roy, Kshitij Saxena, and Pragati claimed the junior film category, while Aashi Zariya, Pulkit Pandey, and Kabir Bhola clinched the junior non-film category.
In the senior category, Rehan Ali, Pratibha Gupta, and Fatima secured the senior film category, while Ayush Sharma, Manvi Tyagi, and Shubham Soni triumphed in the senior non-film category.
Surtarang's nationwide audition tour spanned over 70 cities, attracting over 480 talented singers who vied for the opportunity to perform in the grand finale.
V.S.K. Sood, President of Sangam Kala group, emphasized the platform's commitment to discovering India's finest singing talent, ensuring that no passionate and aspiring singer goes unnoticed.
"Our hardworking and dedicated team has worked tirelessly across more than 70 chapters throughout the country to showcase the talents of these aspiring singers," said Sood.
The competition garnered support from leading corporations, including Indraprastha Gas Limited, Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, Life Insurance Corporation, Union Bank of India, Power Finance Corporation, Indian Oil, Shukla Institute, Museum of Illusions New Delhi, National Rail Museum New Delhi, Step Films, Metro Tyres, VeeGee Industries Private Limited, Jetways Travels, and India Blooms.
The finale served as a stage for individuals who possessed an enduring passion for singing and aspired to become singing sensations.
For those who missed the opportunity to shine in this prestigious singing talent hunt competition, Surtarang is set to return next year with even more grandeur to discover the country's top singing talent.
