Kolkata, May 20 (IBNS): Times Professional Learning and Monash College, Australia on Sunday announced the launch of Monash College International Pathways program.

Towards this, both TimesPro and Monash College formally signed a MoU on Sunday to establish a collaboration. Monash College International Pathways is designed for students who wish to pursue the undergraduate program in business at Monash University.

The program will be conducted over eight months in India and will offer a guaranteed place in the second year at Monash University Australia or Malaysia with full credit for first year studies.

Commenting on the partnership, Jo Mithen, Board Member and Chief Executive Officer, Monash College Pty Ltd said, “Education is undergoing a transition not only in terms of content but also in terms of its delivery. World class universities are more than plush campuses – they are embodiment of ideas and knowledge – which has the power to transcend boundaries and reach out to those who wish to imbibe them."

"However, campus life too is an essential to understand, experience and learn cultures, diversity and build deeper bonds. Monash College International Pathways is one such effort – to offer best of both worlds. We are proud to partner with TimesPro in our quest to impart quality education to millions of aspiring Indian students,” Mithen said.

Given India’s demographic and cultural bent towards education, it is the second-biggest growth driver in international education market after China. Indian students are thriving in universities across US, UK, Australia, Singapore, etc. However, the cost of education and stayhave made the dream of quality international education unachievable for many aspirants.

Announcing the development, Anish Srikrishna, President - Times Professional Learning, said, “Times Professional Learning is proud to associate with Monash College, Australia, to offer the innovative international pathways program and guide students towards a truly international education experience. The association is in keeping with our vision at Times Professional Learning: to bring world-class education to India by making it both accessible and affordable."

"TimesPro, working with Monash College, has envisioned a pathways program that offers parents and students quality guidance, convenience and affordability to make their international education dreams come true. TimesPro and Monash College, Australia, are pleased to enter into this MoU and have agreed to establish a co-operative education program through a curriculum licencing agreement. We look forward to a long and multifaceted relationship with Monash College and Monash University,” said.
