Delve into traditional and innovative hilsa based dishes at the Acropolis Mall this weekend

Kolkata, August 3 (IBNS): Are you a 'hilsa'  fan? Then rush to the Hilsa Festival at Acropolis Mall in south Kolkata where some of the leading eateries of the city have gathered to present some of their special dishes.

The festival is running until Sunday, August 4, from noon to nine pm.

The eateries which are participating in the festival are Sudipar Rannaghar, Bijoli Grill, Sengupta’s, The Galley, Wow Momo, Adam’s Z Momo, Poush Parbon, and Juice & More.

The festival not only features menus with ingredients and flavours inspired by culinary traditions observed on both sides of the Ganga and Padma rivers but also innovative ideas such as 'hilsa momo' by a very popular restaurant chain of the city.

Sayantani Guhathakurta, popular model and actress, inaugurated the Hilsa Festival with K Vijayan, GM,  Acropolis Mall and Rajdeep Bhattacharya, a well-known food blogger.

Along with the Hilsa Festival, the Euphoria 2019 was also inaugurated simultaneously, where Saket Mohta, Managing Director, Merlin Group, and developer of Acropolis Mall, Princeton Club, Ibiza resort, said, “We are always committed to create a novel experience for the citizens of Kolkata at Acropolis Mall with our various initatives. I hope the Hilsa festival would serenade the taste buds of the food connoisseurs with the well curated menus."
