The limited edition menu, inspired by the age-old zodiac-based legend ‘The Great Race’, will be available until February 19.

To set the mood, they will even have matching decorations including window illustrations.

The Rat is the first of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac, embodying the qualities of wealth and optimism.

The limited-edition Chinese New Year menu in Kolkata will feature Chinese dishes prepared by using auspicious ingredients.

Highlights include Crispy Rce and Black Cod served with pickled golden beets and mango chilli sauce; a Lohan Vegetable Claypot with bamboo shoot, lotus seed, cloud ear, mushrooms and black truffle; and a Wok-tossed Tenderloin with hand pulled noodle, courgette, bean sprout and red pepper.
