Kolkata/IBNS: JW Marriott Kolkata is holding a Pink Brunch every Sunday through March at the all-day diner JW Kitchen as part of their International Women's Day celebration.
The brunch is pegged at Rs 2,250 AI (with alcohol) and Rs 1,799 AI (without alcohol).
There is an international salad counter offering ‘zero diet bar’ with leaves and roots from the organic garden, a ‘multifarious ladies salad’ spread offering “Barley Salad with Strawberries and Buttermilk Dressing”, “White Bean and Tuna Salad with Basil Vinaigrette”, “Strawberry Kiwi Spinach Salad”, and an ‘old fashioned ladies’ spread, including fascinating choices like “Sweet Potato Crostini”, “Salmon Mousse”, “White Bottom Vodka Prawns”, “Ginger and Grapefruits Shooters”, to name a few.
Other menu highlights include “Purple Potato and White Garlic Soup”, “Rice Cheese and Strawberry Fitters”, “Five Spice and White Ginger Infused Roasted Pork Belly”, “Smoked Mozzarella & Vegetable Cannelloni”, “Methi Chaman”, “Lasooni Dal Palak” and “Dhakai Fish Curry”, etc.
A wide range of choices will also be available from the cold cuts, cheese live pasta, chaat, and Kolkata biryani stations.
Aside from the live steamed buns and dimsums and rajasthani chilla counter, a distinctive addition to the sumptuous spread will be the ‘Pink Lady Burger Station and Hot Dog Counter’, offering choices of bread such as “Sundried Tomato Focaccia” and “Black Bun”, meat options such as “Marinated Tenderloin Mince Patty”, along with accompaniments and cheeses .
The dessert section of the Pink Brunch is not to be missed, with its selection of sweetmeats, including “Pink Lady” cake, “Raspberry Eclairs”, “Rose Poach Pears”, “Cherry Almond Tart”, “Basbousa”, “Balu Sai” and sugar free “Berry Panna Cotta” and “Chocolate Mousse” for the health-conscious.
On March 7, the hotel will celebrate Women’s Day eve at Gold, the nightclub.
