Fossils, Lakhichhara and Thaikkudam Bridge to feature in rock concert in Kolkata tomorrow
Three top bands- Fossils, Lakhichhara and Thaikkudam Bridge- will be featuring in a rock concert- dubbed as Republic of Rock 2024- on Saturday.
Kolkata's very own Fossils, led by the charismatic Rupam Islam, is set to deliver their signature mix of hard rock. Known for their socially conscious themes and electrifying performances, Fossils has been a driving force in the Indian rock scene for over two decades.
Kolkata’s very own cult rock band, Lakkhichhara, brings their iconic Bangla Rock to life.
Known for their powerful versatility and passionate renditions, this leading band captures the spirit of Bengali rock like no other. Their homage to Mohiner Ghoraguli resonates with depth, blending the legacy of classic Bengali rock with their own contemporary flair.
Representing the rich diversity of Indian music, Thaikkudam Bridge is a multi-genre band that blends rock, classical, folk, and metal influences.
With members hailing from different parts of India, their sound is a beautiful mix of tradition and modernity, featuring elements from Carnatic and Hindustani music with hard-hitting rock and metal.
