Kolkata, Aug 31 (IBNS): For women in Kolkata, the 'Durga Puja look' is not complete without a befitting sari to match every day of the festival and Simaaya on Elgin Road in Kolkata is showcasing a wide range of sari collection to meet this exact requirement.

For the women in a hurry, Simaaya has even introduced a ready-to-wear sari collection.

“This is a new line that we have introduced, which women can simply pull on, to show off the sari look by draping it almost like you would a lehenga. This apart, we have an extensive collection of traditional saris like Kanjeevarams, kantha stitch, Gadhwal, Maheshwari, and an exclusive collection of prints,” said Mayank Agarwal, director of Simaaya.

The sari is the eternal embodiment of a woman’s grace, and of course, shopping can never be complete without it, believes Simaaya.

Recently, noted actress Swastika Mukherjee, too dropped in at Simaaya store for a shopping spree.

We were delighted to welcome Swastika to our store, during her promotions of her new film Shaheb Bibi Golaam. Swastika is a household name in Kolkata and apart from her strong presence in films, she is known for her inspiring sartorial sense. We look forward to her picking out items from our collection,” said Rachit Agarwal, director of Simaaya.

Prices for saris start at Rs. 4,000.
