Enjoy a special romantic dinner at Fatty Bao Kolkata this Valentine's Day
Kolkata, Feb 6 (IBNS): If you and your loved one prefer a cozy candle-lit romantic dinner accompanied by mellifluous music, then drop in at the Fatty Bao Kolkata on Valentine's Day, February 14.
The restaurant is holding a special six-course Valentine's Day dinner called 'Love Portion No 6' in a candle-light setting.
Violinist Rajarshi will serenade the diners with soulful strains from his magic instrument while D Rwik will spin romantic numbers to heighten the mood.
The menu draws inspiration from the wide-ranging Asian cuisine.
Start with a refreshing salad of watermelon stuffed feta cheese, fresh mint, topped with green apple caviar and a hint of spiced jam.
The next course offers a choice between Pickled Vegetables, Cream Cheese and Cured Beetroot Uramaki or the Spicy Crab and Cured Tuna Uramaki.
Relish the Edamame, Cheese and Truffle oil Hargowor if you love seafood, dig into the Prawn and Shitake Dim Sum.
For the next course try the Vegetable Murtabak with fresh curry leaf sauce and pickled cucumber or the succulent Duck Confit drizzled with rendang sauce with Indonesian spices and coconut milk anda serving of roasted potatoes on the side.
The fifth course gives you a choice of Silken Tofu topped with mushroom, tomato, and lemon grass chili paste, wrapped in banana leaf and served with flavoured sticky rice or Grilled marinated Chicken Skewers served with Nyonya style curry sauce with lemongrass, coconut milk, lime leaves and fresh chilies, served with garlic-fried rice.
End the meal with ‘Love Portion’, a decadent chocolate and strawberry mousse, with berry compote, raspberry sauce, vanilla sponge, crumbled oats and vanilla ice cream.
