Kolkata: Support your favourite teams and satiate your palate with Monkey bar's IPL themed menu
Kolkata/IBNS: The pan-India gastropub Monkey Bar has introduced a new food menu that represents Indian premier League (IPL) teams competing this season.
To celebrate the IPL frenzy, Monkey Bar Pavillion 2.0, has unveiled a new menu.
It is available across Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
It will remain available till May 29.
Monkey Bar has also added a cool drinks trolley, a grab-n-go snack station to serve food lovers.
One can pick from Chennai’s Masala Podua and Rajasthan’s Royal Pithore to Mumbai’s MVP Koliwada to Bengal’s Doi Bora Riders in the eatery as they visit during the ongoing IPL season.
Giving a tribute to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Kolkata inspired dish Doi Bora Riders – mince chicken crispy vadas, topped with curd, pomegranate, pickled oranges, diced apples, topped with sev and served with crisp apple chips, mint sauce and spicy imli chutney makes it to the must try out list.
Offering a taste of Mumbai, MVP Koliwada is made with batter fried Bombay style Koliwada prawns, marinated with a hint of spice served in a basket of noodles, topped with horseradish and garlic aioli.
Food lovers can also feast on delicacies such as Sunrisers Haleem and Gassi Kebab Challengers and Taco Time Out
Titans of Dabeli inspired by Gujarat’s favourite street food and the supergiant of Lucknowi tandoor - Tunde Ke Munde are also options to look out for.
And to wash it all down – pitchers of chilled cocktails, great deals on drinks and loads of chilled beer.
All day special priced cocktails pitchers include Mangaa, Copper Monkey, Mojito, Sangria, Caipiroska, and LIIT.
A meal for two with alcohol will cost around Rs. 2,000 (plus tax) and a meal for two without alcohol will cost around Rs.1,400.
