Kolkata's Farzi Cafe offering new menu to foodies from Sept 1
Kolkata: Promising to give foodies in Kolkata some new options to taste, Farzi Cafe, which is located in the upscale Park Street region in the city, is offering a new menu from Sept 1.
In true Farzi style, the new menu is an amalgamation of Indian classic cuisine, global influences and popular regional ingredients and flavours from across India.
Speaking about the launch of this new menu, Zorawar Kalra, Managing Director - Massive Restaurants said, "We are very excited about this new menu as it pushes the envelope for Farzi. The selection focuses on bringing food from popular destinations around India to the forefront, while keeping innovation, playfulness or Farzification by way of presentation and surprise elements to evoke excitement.
Farzi Cafe’s electric high energy ambience is ideal for an evening out with friends and family - the tapas style menu allows diners to savour all dishes accompanied by heady cocktails and a wide selection of liquor.
With the new menu at Farzi Cafe, the brand aims to take your palate on a culinary tour of India, Farzi-style. From Soft Shell Crab, lotus root Kofta to Tangra Chilli Momo, favorites like Cheese truffle kulcha and Pan seared Salmon, New Zealand Lamb Rogan Josh (24 carat gold leaf) and even a Yuzu malai, pistachio crumb- this delectable menu has something for everyone.
Describing his vision, Chef says – “We have added a lot more new regional dishes that are more playful in nature but the style remains the same.”
Farzi Cafe’s bar and mixology has always been the talk of the town, and their cocktails are the best antidote to take the dining experience up a notch or two.
New additions to the cocktail menu include warm elements like the Tricky Tiki with a chamomile gin infusion, Espresso Manhattan which includes a homemade coffee liqueur and the Drunken Cellar which mixes a full bodied Shiraz wine with vodka.
