| @indiablooms | Sep 13, 2018, at 02:12 pm

Guwahati, Sept 13 (IBNS): On the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, people flocked to several Ganesh temples in Assam’s capital city Guwahati on Thursday to offer their prayers to the elephant-headed God.

Devotees from different parts of Assam thronged temples since morning to seek blessings of Lord Ganesh.

Ganesh Chaturthi celebrates Lord Ganesh as the god of new beginnings and the remover of obstacles.

A Hindu festival, it is celebrated across the country.
