Kolkata, Mar 18 (IBNS):Kolkata's Park Plaza on Friday celebrated Easter with the unprivileged children of Hope Foundation.

Bangla Rock Band Cactus was present as the guest in the occasion.

Together with the children, the band members took part in the Easter egg mixing session and entertained the gatherings with their songs.

“It’s really a pleasant feeling to be a part of the occasion. I would congratulate Hope Foundation for always contributing their support and doing something good for the society. As you all know, we are one of the oldest bands and this is indeed a refreshment for us too,” said Sidhu the lead member of Cactus

The foot tapping music played by the band was highly enjoyed by the kids. And at the end of the function, mouth watering savouries and Easter goodies were served to them.

Speaking on the occasion,  Avinash K Mathur, General Manager, Park Plaza said “ It gives me immense pleasure and joy to enjoy the festive occasion of Easter with the children of Hope Foundation. With our encouragement the kids can participate in such activities and be involved in the society. Easter is all about the good overshadowing and winning over the evil. It is a perfect way to bring hope in their lives so that they can outshine all negativity, work hard and achieve fruitful results.”
