New Delhi, June 24 (IBNS): 93.5 RED FM, India's popular radio station, is once again ready to strengthen the connect with its listeners across cities through its biggest initiative - 'Thappa Season 3'.

The fun activity is all about food, where the listeners across 23 cities will endorse their favourite ‘Best of the Best’ street food destinations in 6 categories, followed by a 2-day gala food festival in each city.

Commenting on the initiative, Nisha Narayanan, COO, RED FM, said: “Thappa has been a remarkable success in the last two years in all the cities. RED FM ka Thappa is people’s event in true sense as it reflects their choice.

"The activity has already bagged several awards at industry forums for its innovativeness, including ‘Best on-ground promotion’ category at India Radio Forum 2014 and Golden Mikes Awards 2014. Season 3 is slotted to be bigger than the previous 2 seasons and the initial response this year has been overwhelming. ”

Thappa Season is a network campaign across key 23 markets of the network. Each market will nominate the best in each of the 6 food categories.

The 6 categories in every market will be decided on the basis of the city’s favourite food palate. Thappa Season 3 will be a month long affair concluding with a food festival mid July.
