Kolkata/Bengaluru, June 6 (IBNS): Knorr is a brand that firmly believes that good food matters, it adds untold pleasure to our lives and that everyday meals can be just as magical as special occasions.

They reinforced this belief this Saturday by inviting Masterchef Australia’s Gastronomic King, Chef Gary Mehigan to host a KNORR Masterclass, for the good people of Bangalore.

To add some Indian tadka to the class, the brand also invited the winner of Masterchef India 2010 and Knorr’s Brand Ambassador, Chef Pankaj Bhadouria to cohost the KNORR Masterclass too.

The KNORR Masterclass was a tremendous success, with the Masters whetting the appetites, and blowing the minds of food enthusiasts lucky enough to be present at the class. Chef Gary began the class by giving all those present, a first-hand peek into the captivating world of incredible food, not only entertaining the audience with compelling stories of his magnificent food experiences over the years, but also inspiring them to pursue their food dreams and experiment with gourmet food and terminologies in their daily lives.

The great food Master also talked about his love for Indian food, and how the clever use of magnificent Indian spices could completely change the taste and flavour of a particular dish.

He then created some outstanding dishes for the lucky audience, and the Roast Chicken he made, using KNORR’s famous Pao Bhaji masala, really had the audience begging for more.

He attributed the lip-smacking, swoon inducing taste of the dishes he made, to the incredible blend of spices and distinctive flavour, introduced by new variants of KNORR masalas he used.

Speaking at the Masterclass, Chef Gary Mehigan said, “I really enjoyed hosting this Knorr Masterclass in Bangalore. I love Indian food and flovors, and am so inspired by Indian cuisine and eager to learn more, but I also enjoy sharing my passion for Australia and the amazing food we have to offer – and this Masterclass was the ideal amalgamation of both! I am definitely going back home and experimenting with some more Indian dishes for my friends and family, using KNORR fantastic Masala’s of course!”

Chef Pankaj Bhadouria, “When Knorr approached me to co-host a Masterclass with culinary king – Chef Gary Mehigan, I jumped at the opportunity. The KNORR Masterclass received such a great response from everyone here, and people loved the “indo-western” dishes that Chef Gary and I whipped up, using KNORR’s amazing masala’s! I am definitely going back home with a great experience and ample of memories.”
