Taj Bengal Kolkata hosts Thailand Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn

Kolkata, July 22 (IBNS) : Kolkata's Taj Bengal on Tuesday hosted Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand at the hotel.

The hotel had laid out a red carpet welcome for Princess of Thailand and she was personally welcomed by the General Manager, K Mohanchandran.

Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was on a day’s visit, accompanied by a group of Army Cadets from Thailand, senior Military Personnel and the Ambassador of Thailand in India, Manityakul.

As part of the program, the royal entourage and the rest of the group attended a lecture session by Nobel Laureate and Bharat Ratna Professor Amaratya Sen, who spoke on the Indian Economy.

To offer a memorable experience, Sujan Mukherjee - Executive Chef of Taj Bengal, showcased a culinary experience for lunch at Sonargaon – the menu that explored the finest in Indian cuisines, serving traditional and contemporary favourites, including dishes like Murg Malai Tikka, Nalli Roganjosh, Machhli Ka Salan, Jhinga Joshina, Dal Sonargaon, Zafrani Pulao, Kalakand and Rasmalai.
