Kolkata, Dec 26 (IBNS): In keeping with the true spirit of Yuletide, STORY, Kolkata's leading lifestyle and bookstore, hosted nearly 100 underprivileged kids from Future Hope Foundation, CRY and CINI Asha, to bring joy into the lives of these kids.

Chill fest, a Christmas special programme, which was open to all, ensured that the kids got to rub shoulders and participate in the games together, irrespective of their backgrounds.

Siddharth Pansari, director, Primarc Group said, “I am very glad to see the NGO kids participating and enjoying themselves wholeheartedly. The idea is to involve the underprivileged into the spirit of the season, enjoy and have fun. We look forward to celebrate Christmas Carnival with more grandeur in the upcoming years encompassing children from underprivileged, specially abled and other deprived section of our society."

Christmas Carnival is a good way to teach kids how to be involved in teams, make decisions, get organised and inculcate a feeling of sharing, agreed most of the adults present at STORY along with their children.

The unique fun- filled fiesta brought all kids on the same platform through music, food, carols and activities.

Activities included story telling sessions, magic shows, and tattoo making.

The kids merrily decorated the Christmas tree and were overwhelmed by the goodies they received from Santa.

The store was decked up in keeping withe spirit of Christmas, and stalls were set up to sell Christmas goodies and decorations.

Christmas carols rendered a festive feel too.

Chill Fest, which started from Dec 10 will continue till Jan 1, at STORY's two stores at Elgin Road and Diamond Plaza, Jessore Road. The activities are curated for children across the age group of 2-12 years.
