Kolkata, May 23 (IBNS): 93.5 Red FM has associated with Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi's Children’s Foundation for their annual CSR initiative - Bajao For A Cause.

Commencing from 12th June, Bajao For A Cause will launch a year-long campaign for child protection against child labour, forced prostitution, trafficking, and sexual abuse.

Satyarthi visited the Red FM studio in Kolkata to promote this cause along with RJ Praveen.

Collaborating with Satyarthi, Red FM will urge listeners to actively extend their support to the cause and donate for the underprivileged children all over India.

Through this CSR initiative the radio station will share real-life stories of brave survivor and plight of many other children who are still awaiting to be rescued.

Creating right noises for the cause, Red FM along with Satyarthi hope to eradicate child labour and child exploitation by educating and mobilizing the masses.

Committed towards building support and expanding scope for child protection, this initiative will focus on providing large scale support for the rescued and rehabilitated children of India.

Commenting on their association with Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, Nisha Narayanan, COO, Red FM says, “Bajate Raho being the Red FM’s mantra, ‘Bajao for a Cause’ is inherited in our DNA and we constantly thrive to practice it in our initiatives."

"We conduct this CSR campaign every year in all our markets and stations supporting multiple causes relevant to that region like education for sex workers’ children in Mumbai, installation of sanitary pad vending machines in 50 government schools in Kolkata, fund raising for abandoned kids in Delhi and this year child protection against exploitation of all kinds across India."

"We believe our collaboration with Mr. Satyrathi’s ‘Surakshit Bachpan’ initiative, will effectuate a positive change in the lives of young souls, wherein we will gift them a life which they deserve to live,” said he.

Commenting on the collaboration with Red FM, Kailash Satyarthi says, “We are delighted to be part of Bajao For A Cause this year. With RED FM’s support, we plan to reach out to more people and gather momentum for our cause. In turbulent times likes ours, it is very important to secure our children’s future at nascent stage. Such holistic physical and mental security will protect them from all kinds of untoward incidents."

"This initiative will help us to push the message of child protection to the masses. We hope to change the mindset of the people where our focus is to build a healthy relationship with every child through love, respect, and friendship. Through Bajao For A Cause we will bring about that change in addressing children’s issue via various activities and programmes undertaken by both the organizations,” said he.

This joint effort from Red FM and Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation plan to spread message of child protection far and wide, establishing a greater impact via on-air programmes across all major cities – Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bangalore.
