Kolkata, Nov 6 (IBNS): In its latest venture, Asha Audio Company has launched "Sudhu Tor Jnyo", an album of Bengali modern songs sung by Sandip Ray.

Speaking about the album, Ray said: "I was always into composing music. It  was a pleasure being appreciated by Mahua di when she heard my compositions initially. It was on her insistence that we started recording it soon."

Mahua Lahiri, director of Asha Audio Company, had a lot of good things to say about the album.

“We are delighted to come out with this soulful album and we are sure that the album will be liked by the contemporary listeners. Sandip has proved that he is not just a gifted singer but also an excellent composer and lyricist too,” she said.

Singer Usha Uthup  and actor Saheb Chatterjee were present at the launch of the album.

The album consists of four audio tracks- “Sudhu Tor Jnyo”, “Deep Jola Sandhyay”, “Ki Je Ki Holo”, and “Toke Chara Aaj”. All the songs have been written and composed by Sandip Ray.

The album is priced Rs. 99 and it will be available across all the leading music stores in the city.
