Skulpt Kolkata offers a month long special fitness session for the brides and grooms
Kolkata/IBNS: Skulpt, one of the largest gymnasiums with state of the art amenities in Kolkata, has an answer to all those who are worried if they will be fit and picture perfect on their wedding day after all the pre-wedding running around.
Their fitness manager Prosenjit Biswas has an effective and simple workout plan for the brides and the grooms before their big day.
The one-month program has been devised with a different workout regime for every week, which will help the brides tone themselves up along with getting that fabulous glow.
Along with exercising, it is also important to know about the food that you must have and those that you must avoid.
This preparation should begin for a week or a few days before the day itself, is what they suggest.
Therefore in-house nutritionist, Saloni Surana, will suggest diet tips for the bride and groom, making the plan a perfect combination of both nutrition and fitness.
While these are but temporary solutions, trainers at Skulpt suggest that it is better to have a long term fitness plan than a short one.
It is important to keep oneself hydrated with detox water (water with lemon slices and mint), eat chia seeds and lots of fruits and vegetables to stay fresh and get all the vitamins and minerals one needs.
On the day of the wedding, try Pranayam and basic breathing exercises for 10-15 minutes a day, to relax and feel calm, advise trainers from Skulpt.
Their final caution – once the wedding is over, couples often get back to eating without restrictions and enjoying a carefree life.
This is when they don’t realize that they are missing out on being healthy and fit and all the efforts they put in before the wedding go in vain.
It is very important to keep in mind that one needs to be on track and continue the workout routine by making a schedule to stay fit ever after.
