Lockdown 2.0 - Bengali language users creating engaging content on ShareChat

Kolkata/IBNS: After the extended lockdown 2.0 was announced in India, Bengali language users went viral on the ShareChat platform with various challenges to do during the Quarantined phase of their lives.

  #LockdownChallenge #healthyfoodchallenge @cookingchallenge #handwashchallenge #learning2cookchallenge #cleaningchallenge are some of the interesting challenges that users are proposing and driving engagement with.

Many users are inviting their friends, family to participate and post interesting video content, pics demonstrating the challenges. Overall all these challenges generated over 15000 UGC posts with 42,000 shares and 30 lakhs views.

Lockdown Challenge is the major one with users posing challenges for other users to not touch their face for 2 days, eating only healthy food, doing indoor exercises, push ups, washing hands repeatedly with a given number of times. Over 2000 UGC posts on this tag were generated, viewed 5 lakh times.

Another interesting trend was the love for food. #Whatsinfoodtoday was an interesting challenge where users were being asked to post pics / videos of the food items cooked on a daily basis where users participated in a big number. More than 10,000 UGC content posts were being created on this category with 30,000 shares and over 15 lakhs views.
