ShareChat users digitally celebrate Eid this year, create over 10 lakhs UGC content posts
Kolkata/IBNS: ShareChat, leading made in India social media platform witnessed huge traction on the occasion of Eid this year on its platform with more than 10 lakhs UGC post created across 12 languages such as Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Odia and Assamese.
Over 10 lakhs diverse content posts from the platform posted by the language users; received over 40 lakhs shares and generated over 30 crore views on the platform.
Eid wishing content was on the top amongst all other content where users posted moon night wishing videos, images, text post and eid wishing video-image posters with their loved ones.
Users also shared tempting recipes and pictures of their home made feasts including Seviyan.
Many users also shared eid wishing video messages and Bollywood songs to celebrate the special day.
On the auspicious occasion, users shared their selfie and shared social distancing messages by posting videos and image posts.
Malayalam language ranked on top in terms of posting Eid related UGC content with over 75000 UGC posts and over 12 lakh whatsapp shares. Malayalam language content alone generated over 15 crore views (50% of the total views received) from the users on the platform.
Bengali and Hindi followed 2nd and 3rd spots for posting Eid content with 30,000 UGC and 22000 UGC respectively.
Bengali Language received over 3 lakhs whatsapp shares with over 3 crore views. In Hindi, over 20k UGC posts generated over 4 lakhs whatsapp shares and over 2 core 20 lakhs views.
