Uber launches #RideSmartKol week

Kolkata, Apr 1 (IBNS) Web-based taxi company Uber has initiated an awareness to empower the people of Kolkata in choosing safe and smart riding options after a night on the town.

Drinking and driving is a serious concern and now with Uber there is a safe, convenient and reliable alternative to avail during a night out, the company said in a release.

This campaign brings home this civic message in a fun manner through a series of power-packed events and partnerships.

To kickstart the #RideSmartKol initiative, Uber has partnered with the city’s most popular watering holes to help people get some sweet deals around town.

"From 30th March to 5th April, all you need to do is take an Uber to any of our partner establishments and you will get a free drink! What’s more, all rides to and from these venues will be FREE!" it said.


HOW IT WORKS

Enter the promo code ‘RIDESMARTKOL’ and you will unlock 4 free rides up to Rs. 200 each (to or from any of our partner venues).

Take a ride to or from any of the venues listed - Veda, Shisha, Swirl, The Loft, Splash, Olypub, Maaya, Xrong Place, My Bar Kitchen, etc.-  and the promo will automatically kick in
Display your Uber ride receipt (that is emailed to you at the end of your ride) at the bar to claim your free drink! (House Rules apply)

UBER HAPPY HOUR
