Sandip Ray launches actor Siddhartha Chatterjee's book Feludar Prothom Topse in Kolkata
Kolkata/IBNS: Filmmaker Sandip Ray graced the launch of actor Siddhartha Chatterjee's book titled Feludar Prothom Topse book at Starmark in Kolkata recently.
Former bodybuilder Malay Roy, acclaimed actor and film director, Kushal Chakraborty, film director, Shantanu Bagchi and Tridib Chatterjee, distinguished writer and editor and General Secretary of the Publishers & Booksellers Guild, also the owner of Patra Bharati were also present.
This launch held special significance as it celebrated the journey of Siddhartha Chatterjee, who brought forth his unique perspective and experiences as the iconic character ‘Topse’ from the timeless masterpieces Sonar Kella and Joy Baba Phelunath made by the legendary filmmaker, Late Satyajit Ray.

'Feludar Prothom Topse' chronicles the essence of Chatterjee's portrayal of Topse and offers readers a captivating insight into the world of Feluda through his eyes.
"When I first stepped into the world of Feluda, I was a stranger to it. However, the journey of embodying Topse was a transformative experience for me.
"Each moment on set, each interaction with the cast and crew, contributed to my understanding of Satyajit Ray's vision and the essence of the character. I am glad to share my reflections and anecdotes in this book, which I believe will resonate with readers of all ages", said Chatterjee.
