Mumbai/IBNS: It will be interesting to observe what advancements Apple makes with the iPhone 16 series this year after the release of the iPhone 15 series in 2023.

The California-headquartered tech giant is expected to launch the iPhone 16 series in 2024, and speculation and rumours about what features and changes we might expect have been going on for a while.

This is a summary of all the leaks and rumors regarding the iPhone 16, including design tweaks, performance enhancements, battery updates and new colour options.

Design:

There will not be any major size adjustments for the iPhone 16 models, but the Pro versions are expected to see an increase in display size. Notable improvements expected in the iPhone 16 lineup include the addition of new buttons, like the Capture Button for photographs and videos, and the enlargement of the Action Button across all models.

New A-series chips:

Apple plans to release new A-series CPUs with enhanced performance and efficiency. The chip is developed based on the most recent N3E 3-nanometer node. Various chip variations could be utilized across the iPhone 16 and iPhone Pro versions.

Camera:

With a vertical camera design and possibly further developed lenses, the iPhone 16 setup intends to upgrade photograph and video capacities. The expansion of a Capture Button and the possibility of a super telephoto periscope camera in the iPhone 16 Pro Max variant could enhance photography experience.

Battery:

Tipster Baby Baby Sauce claims on Weibo that the iPhone 16 will have a 3,561mAh battery, which is up from the 3,349mAh unit seen in iPhone 15. It is also claimed that the iPhone 16 Plus will have a 4,006mAh battery, which will be smaller than the 4,383mAh unit seen in iPhone 15 Plus model.

Similarly, the iPhone 16 Pro model is said to pack a 3,355mAh battery unit, which is slightly up from the 3,274mAh unit seen in iPhone 15 Pro.

However, the iPhone 16 Pro Max model will reportedly have the biggest 4,676mAh battery unit, which is bigger than iPhone 15 Pro Max model's 4,422mAh unit.

Display:

OLED boards with miniature focal point innovation are supposed to offer superior brilliance and diminished power utilization. The reception of Boundary Decrease Design (BRS) could prompt slimmer bezels, improving the overall display experience.

Connectivity:

Quicker and more effective 5G network is expected in iPhone 16, with its Pro models conceivably highlighting Qualcomm's Snapdragon X75 modem. Wi-Fi 7 innovation may likewise make a big appearance in the Pro models, giving quicker move paces and lower dormancy.

AI capabilities:
