Instant messaging app WhatsApp has introduced a new feature allowing people to share one-minute voice notes on status updates.

"With the latest updates of WhatsApp for iOS and Android, WhatsApp is rolling out the ability for users to record and share longer voice notes via status updates," reported WABetainfo.

Following the latest update, the duration of the video can now be one minute.

Users no more need multiple recordings with the extension of the video duration now.

Previously, the duration of the video was 30 seconds.

When will the new update be available to users?

This feature is available to some users at present and soon it will be rolled out to more users over the coming days.
