Audi A8L launched in Kolkata
Kolkata, June 8 (IBNS): German luxury car manufacturer Audi on Saturday launched its flagship Audi A8L car in Kolkata as the officials said it crossed the 10,000 sales mark in not just the calendar year but also in the last financial year in India.
The car is offering hand-built quality, lightweight construction and other high -end technologies to the customers.
The car is available at Rs. 1,16,60,000 for ex-showroom Kolkata.
Speaking to media at the launch of the car, Gaurav Bajaj, Director , Audi Kolkata said: "This is a flagship model of Audi.We have 40 percent market share of Audi in Kolkata in the luxury segment."
He said car market in Kolkata has grown in the last few years.
"As far as this car is concerned, in Kolkata, we expect to sell 25 cars this year," he said.
Joe King, Head, Audi India, said:“Audi India was the first luxury car manufacturer in India to cross the 10,000 sales mark in not just the calendar year but also in the financial year. This double achievement of selling more than 10000 units in a single financial year and in a calendar year validates the strength and stature that the brand has achieved in India."
