Saree is a beautiful outfit. There was a time when saree seemed to be faded into oblivion but no more! It makes a comeback and how! From dusk to dawn, from desk to drinks and from the kitchen to pubs, a saree has become the wardrobe staple.

Thanks to our Bollywood actresses, it is not limited to art movies or political parties. It is the ‘IT’ thing on the fashion circuits and in every major happening. However, our pet peeve is that we don’t see them sporting it on a regular basis! Or maybe we can’t have enough of them! You may find best online saree shopping sites in India to have a look at these stunning outfits.

Sara Ali Khan

The youngest sparkling star kid on the block, she has proved her dancing and acting mettle already. She looks absolutely adorable! She can be often seen in ethnic wear like salwar suit but Sara Ali Khan in a saree is a rare delight that she aces effortlessly as well.

Sara looks ravishing in a white saree. She keeps her looks simple and elegant. A top scorer on our charts!

Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor looks absolutely beautiful in a six-yarder. She wears Sri Devi, her mother’s sarees for public appearances and we absolutely love and value the connection here. Sarees suit her and we simply can’t wait to see her again sporting this traditional wear! The best thing about her that she doesn’t overdo the bling at all. She keeps her makeup simple and often without jewellery. With her shoulder-grazing hair, she looks

Disha Patani

This another newcomer looks absolutely stunning in a saree. From a Kanjivaram saree to a georgette one, she nails the ethnic wear every time she wears one! In this white saree, she is a vision to behold. She pairs this saree with a statement blouse. Sans any jewellery and much makeup, Disha keeps her look quite simple. A ten-on-ten from the fashion police.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt doesn’t need an introduction. Her beauty and acting chops are God-level. In her short span, she has rocked the saree in a gorgeous way! Take her handwoven chanderi saree for instance. The pink complements her skin tone. She keeps her look simple, almost like a dream! She pairs the saree with a simple sleeveless blouse and statement earrings.  And if you think you can only look graceful in a saree, you would like to think again. Alia knows how to look naughty and playful in a saree too! As she sways on the tune of a hit number from the movie Mohra, we wonder, what makes her so perfect!

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon is pretty and slowly yet steadily making her mark in the Bollywood as well. This beautiful actress definitely knows how to wear a saree and look beautiful! Wearing a heavily embellished saree with statement sleeveless blouse, she looks like a million bucks!

These new celebrity actresses know not only how to wear a saree but to flaunt it too! They keep revisiting the saree in different designs, style and patterns! What’s stopping you, ladies?
